Some Light On Black Friday

While humans demonstrate their capacity for being herd animals (as well as demonstrating that all it takes to get them into an enclosed area is to offer them some kind of monetary deal — something to keep in mind for future crowd or population control), on the natural front there is good news today, namely that the first jaguar since 2009 has been sighted in the United States, Monarch butterflies are returning to their wintertime California residence in record numbers, and the otherwise infamous Ninth U.S. Court of Appeals has extended the endangered species status of the Grizzly Bears in Yellowstone National Part in spite of (or as a reward for?) the fact that Ursus Horribilus has attacked and killed several humans in the park recently.

Give thanks and be happy!
